AMAZON BESTSELLING AUTHOR RUSSELL D BERNSTEIN
I’m Russell Bernstein, author of Doodles: When Art and Magic Collide, the story of a boy who discovers he has the magic power to make anything he draws appear in real life. This ability not only classifies Doodles as one of a select group of gifted individuals known as Wizarts but it also helps him come out of his shell and gain the confidence that had been eluding him up until that point. The book is meant to inspire kids to get in touch with their artistic and creative sides, but also to draw attention to one of the most prevalent issues in young people’s lives today, bullying. Not only did bullying affect me during my childhood but it also affects the character of Doodles Lanhorn, who many other kids should be able to relate to and begin to see themselves in during his journey from page to page. In addition, through the Doodles series and my efforts as a writer, I have also begun speaking nationally to elementary and middle schools on the subject of bullying, furthering my mission to end one of the most detrimental issues plaguing the youth of America today. Not all of us can pick up a magic paint brush and draw whatever it is we imagine, but we all can do our part to make sure everyone in our lives is treated with respect, dignity and positivity. Doodles makes a great gift for the young boy or girl in your life who loves to read or draw! It is available HERE! I’d like to take the opportunity to thank you for taking the time to visit my site and showing interest in not only Doodles the book, but the very important message and movement behind it as well.
